Urban and community planning requires taking a step back and understanding both the built environment and the environmental, economic, social, and political factors that influence it. This process affirms that it is more important than ever to create places that are healthy, sustainable, resilient, and beautiful. I help clients to realize these possibilities for places and cities. To do so, I work with partners from a wide range of disciplines to understand project issues and develop appropriate solutions.

Over the past decade, I have worked with clients in both the private and public sector, at regional and city scales, to create a host of urban designs and civic spaces, including: transportation plans, street concept plans, new town masterplans, transit station plans, and downtown open space plans.
