HEALTHCARE

Landscapes can be places of great healing, combining the power of biophilia with access to fresh air and opportunities for physical activity. That's why landscape architecture is a crucial factor for healthcare campuses.

My work with the Meridian Center for Health in Seattle, WA, utilized an existing natural spring as the central component of a landscape design filled with lush plantings and walkways that were accessible and inviting to the surrounding community. The project, completed with Site Workshop and NBBJ Architects, won an AIA/AAH Healthcare Design Award and WASLA Professional award.
